Elena is a community leader who has been working in Holocaust education for over 20 years, 12 of which she spent as Director of the Holocaust Commission of the United Jewish Federation of Tidewater. Her dedication to the betterment of humanity through education and community action is clear.
Elena is an Executive Board Member of the Virginia Holocaust Museum, on the community board
Rachel Barrett
Rachel is passionate about Technology and how it can help bring communities together to band together for a common goal.

With her passion, expertise and experience, Rachel brings key elements to the foundation of the Ukrainian Humanity Center team.
Breeze Dahlberg
With passion and experience in nonprofit fundraising and healthcare, Breeze values giving back to communities, especially those facing hardships and disparities. She has served on nonprofit boards and is a member of the Holocaust Center for Humanity’s Speaker’s Bureau since 2018, sharing her grandmother’s story of survival from the Holocaust with students and organizations.
Joanna Millick
With heartfelt support from friends and neighbors, Joanna and her care network have been able to provide free housing, free utilities, as well as some financial support, basic necessities and beyond, to Ukrainian families finding refuge in Warsaw. Joanna is a key and integral part of the mission of the Ukrainian Humanity Center.
