The UHC is kicking off a CAMPaign and we need your help to send Ukrainian refugee children to Summer camp! Last year we were able to sponsor 15 children to attend a 10 overnight camp and they had an amazing time - check out the pictures! We want to do it again - but we can't do it alone! Please help us reach our goal of $10,000. 100% of the donations will sponsor the cost for children to attend the camp, provide art/craft supplies and fund field trips for the children. The memories that are made are truly priceless.
Wishing all the Mom's a Happy Mother's Day especially 'Our Moms' who have endured so much in the last few years since the war in Ukraine. Your resilience inspires us each and every day.
Spring is in the air, and the Ukrainian Humanity Center is embracing this season as a new beginning. We are looking ahead to the amazing programs and partnerships we are building in this year, while fondly looking back at the community and fellowship we fostered over the winter months. It is hard to believe that it has been two years since Russia invaded the sovereign nation of Ukraine and began a brutal and unnecessary war. Before the war was a year old, the Ukrainian Humanity Center was working to help better the lives of displaced mothers and children who had escaped with not much more than their lives to Poland.
And we are still helping them! From rent support and language lessons for Moms to summer camps and school supplies for kids, UHC, with your help, is making a real difference in the lives of real people, in real time.
Please consider supporting UHC with a donation in recognition of two years of this war. Let’s hope there won’t be a third anniversary!
To be the bridge of hope as a safe place to join in community, providing education
and support services for
Ukrainian children and families.
During our visit to Poland in July 2022, we had the opportunity to listen to stories from Ukrainian mothers and children of their narrow escapes from the Russian attacks on Ukraine.
Our group felt compelled to take action to create a nonprofit organization that can improve the lives of these Ukrainian children and families.
As a group, we bring a diverse collaboration of experience and passion for helping others and being of service.
We know that Ukrainian children and families are facing unimaginable hardships and we are committed to our mission. From Teddy Bears and books, to food and shelter, the Ukrainian Humanity Center is taking action to provide much needed support.
